Help On Testing Water

i am new to fish keeping had them bout a month now but i have a testing kit (5 in 1 aquarium test strips) what should the nitrite nitrate etc... be

strips arent really that great

nitrite should be=0
nitrate-below 50

great im doing a water test now the there off the scale

do a large, (lke 70%)water change. make sure new water is dechlorinated and similar in temperature.

i have done a 25% water change chlorinated and leaving tit to stand for 24 hours im not going to change 75% yet

Do you have fish in the tank?
