So...

I have a 50 litre tank with a few minnows and a few zebra danios. a sucking loach and a few snails.
water temp is kept between 16-22 (depending on how cold my room gets)

What other fish can I add to this habitat that will cause no problems to my other fish? or receive any problems from my other fish?

Thanks

I wouldn't add any other fish species.

50l is, IMO, too small for both minnows and danios which are very fast swimmers and need a decent length of tank (three foot, I would say) to 'stretch their fins', as it were.

The sucking loach is going to grow to a foot long, so you need to think about re-homing it.

Why don't you get a small heater? It would cost only pence to run and then you could swap your current fish for some of the smaller tetras or rasboras that aren't such fast and far swimmers as your current fish. Even the more temperate tropical fish, like platies, aren't going to be happy at 16°.

+1 to Rehoming the Pik
+1 to Rehoming the Minnos
+1 To rehoming the Danios

With a 50 litre tank, your looking at the micro species of fish, such as:

Ember Tetras
Pygmy cories
Endler's livebearers
Rasbora/Boraras maculatus
Honey gouramies
Shrimp such as Cherry, ghost, bumbllebee, amano, however your water needs to be close to perfect.

Just becasue these fish will workin your set up, please be reasonable in the amounts you place in here :good:
