The light went on my 60 Litre Hagen Elite tank. It's a T8 15watt bulb that says GLO Power-Glo on it. I went to my local market and picked up a T8 15watt bulb that says cool white on the box and put it in. I just went and switched on the light and it's making my tank colours look horrible!!!!!!
This is amy fake tank which has a black background pink gravel and pink plants. Usually it is a lovely vibrant pink and the fish colours really stand out. Now the gravel has a slight yellow tinge to it and everything just looks a bit like I'm looking at the tank with yellow glasses on. Everything isn't as vibrantly coloured as it was.
What light should I be buying to make everything bright and vibrant like it was?
