Fish Crazy
I have never had any major problems since I started keeping fish, but since last week in my 91 litre tank I lost a neon tetra no symptoms, two spotted hill stream loaches no symptoms & now two neon tetras have Popeye. I tested the water when the first tetra died water was fine I done a 50% water change any way, that’s when I lost the first hill stream loach the other went shortly after so I done another water change & have just completed a course of myxacin to treat the Popeye but to no avail.
The water stats for the first test where ph 7.2, nitrite 0, nitrate 20, ammonia 0 the most recent stats are all the same accept nitrate which was 10 tested with the aquarium pharmaceuticals master kit. There has been no change to food or routine the only thing has been higher water temps this tank has been the hardest to regulate the temperature.
1. To treat pop eye shall I try a second course of myxacin or try melafix?
2. My stats seem fine could the high water temps be cause of my problems?
I'm realy gutted i like all my fish but my hillstreams where amongst my favourites
