Thank you.

The infamous Auratus!!!!! I used to have some, but when they grew older they got very agressive and made my tank into a living hell. In your case it looks like you have a tank of them so you should be fine.

Hurray, very fast and efficient, i have to note that i have a 3ft tank with 6 of these on thier own and a glass sucker, the water ph is only 7. never kept malwai's before. should be fun.

buy u a pint sometime mate.

:thanks:

Hi again, can anyone tell me what I can put in the tank with them, they are in a 3ft planted tank. various gaurnamies, angles, balla's, bgkf, talking catfish, ummm rest too too small.

again the help much appreciated.

TBH nothing. M.auratus should really be kept in a species tank of 75gal or more, and even then you will have aggression problems. Unfortunately, the rest of your fish are in danger with them in there. I'd recommend rehoming them, or setting up their own tank. :good:

Here's some more info on them: http://www.cichlid-forum.com/articles/m_auratus.php
