I've had a danio for 1 yr and in the last week it has suddenly bloated. As a consequence, its spine has also curved and it has trouble swimming. There are 2 other danios in the tank and they are doing fine. It's a 20L tank, and I feed them twice a day.
Red lines have also appeared along the bloated danios belly, but I'i sm assuming that's because the scales have stretched. I have placed the danio in a hospital tank with a low level so it can swim more easily, but it doesn't look like it is doing too great.
Please suggest me something I can do to save my fish.

Hi there.

Are your water stats ok?
Sometimes red lines on fish can indicate bacterial infection so it might be worth treating with an antibacterial medication.
Swollen bellys can be due to bloat when the fish is constipated. You could try feeding a cooked shelled pea (frozen peas are fine but defrost it first)

You've done the right thing to remove the danio to a separate tank as this reduces the risk of infecting the main tank, if it is an infection.
