Help My Tank

ive got a new tank and a couple of my guppies have died along with my fighting fish and bumble bee????? Why ?????
 
What are your water parameters, what is your setup? did you cycle?
 
what does all that mean lol, all i know is that i set it up with sand, loads and loads of alive and fake plants, left it a couple of days n then put my fish in ..............hold on another molly and 2 more guppies have just died what the hell?????????

Water parameters are ammonia, ph, nitrate, nitrite etc. What size is your tank and what filtration are you using.

It takes more than a couple of days to cycle a new tank, here is a link that will explain further and in detail:

I'm sorry you're having trouble! Sounds like they were possibly poisoned by their own waste. Cycling basically means building up bacteria that will "eat" the waste and turn it into good bacteria that won't hurt the fish. Do a big waterchange, maybe 50% now if you haven't already and get some test strips to check the parameters. Keep doing water changes when you see the levels of ammonia/nitrIte going too high.

i have been doing water changes and my dad came over and did a water test, all the things were seriously high ,
