Well I started the Tetracycline today. I did a water change yesterday, ran carbon for 21 hours then did another water change and added the first does of Tetracycline. I don't know if that one day without antibiotics caused her to backslide, but she was definately doing the vertical (nose up) swimming and slight listing to one side much more frequently yesterday and today then she did during the previous days on Maracyn 2, but the tetracycline is in the tank so hopefully this second round of antibiotics will do the trick. I will keep you posted.
Oh, and I also wanted to ask about my male Gourami ... he has gotten over the fact that she is not in the tank and is back to his old self, but I have noticed that is orange colouring has become less apparent since the female gourami was removed. I remember reading that the orange on the males becomes more prominant during courting and mating, but just wanted to make sure I don't have to start worring about him now too. No other oddities with him, just the colouring.
