So as some of you might know I have been having some trouble with my angels. Well this morning the last one died. I checked the water levels and fed the rest they were all great. Now I can't find my gourami my eel or my frog. I have looked everywhere. I don't know what happened. I have taken the whole tank apart. I found a few fish peices their insides not sure which one it was. What in my tank could do this. My bala sharks are babies, my red tailed shark is only about an inch and a half everything else is passive. What is going on
ph 7.4
nitrites 0
nitrates 0
amonia's 0
temp 87

Any symtoms to go on.
0 nitrate reading rare what your tap nitrate reading, do you use live plants.

I'll check tap nitrate now but no symtoms everything besides the angel was healthy and fine this morning and the rest are fine now and no I don't have any live plants.

Alright just tested nitrate out of tap and it too is 0

How big is the Black Ghost Knife if it is still in there. Some BGKs can be quite aggressive and are very capable of killing other fish, especially at night when there on the hunt.

He's probly about 4-5 inches. He and the red tailed are fishting right now. The red tail is trying to kill him. I talked to my fish guy
last night he said there is no way the fish I have now could have eaten a 6" eel an adult gourami and a dwarf frog with nothing left over. He said they would have exploded by now. I have searched the entire tank and there is nothing no parts nothing. Then to top it off the fish think their starving

So my amonia's are still at 0 therefore there are no dead fish in the tank. I don't get this. We have a fitted glass top so they can't get out and we checked the filter nothing in there. I am at a loss. My fish guy says the only thing he can think of is that I have a ghost that hates fish lol.

Have you checked your filter? It may be possible that the bodies of these fish may have been broken up by scavenging? Also, checked on the floor around your tank?

sorry i meant temp is 78 not 87 and yes i have checked the filter took it apart nothing in there checked everywhere around the tank even though we have a fitted top.

I think that's the answer; incompatible fish. Anything getting in the way of those two will be history. Unless you want them to keep fighting, one or both will have to be removed.
