Help My Albino Corie

I just fed my guys some blood worm and now this albino corie keeps darting around the tank frantically with what apears to be a blood worn stuck in it's gill! Its breathing really heavalie and I dont know what to do... can you guys please help me?

Ok nevermind... he's seems to have got it out but still, do any of you know what happend? Did I do something wrong?

Same thing happened the other week to another fish keepers, he got it out himself too, if they do have trouble try and remove the worm your self.

Dont they have spines and such though?

Corys have barbels, whiskers as some people like to call them, they don't have spines.

Oh... I always thought they had like spines in their fins

I only keep panda corys, but never know corys to have spines on there fins, are you sure they are not worms on the fins.
