Hi there, I am here because my Betta seems to be in trouble...

Heres what happened...

My Betta seemed to be happy in my community tank that contained Neons and Corys...

My friend gave me four Zebra Danios, and knowing that they can be troublesome, and hoping that buying more to make a school of ten might help to curb their agrresion toward each other, I accepted, and bought another six, to give me a school of ten...

After about a week my Betta (the one in my signature) seemed to be depressed, but as I had not seen my Zebras bullying him, I left it... After another few days when I noticed them nipping his fins I seperated him, left him in the tank, but put him in a floating fry tank... His depression appeared to get worse. Hoping that he may be better of, and for the zebras to pay less attention to him I reintroduced him to the other fish... No luck, and I seperated him completely from the main tank... I have put him temporarily in my spare Eheim filter. I took out the media, put fresh water in and put him to the side...

My question is, is there any thing I can do for him NOW, (its 8pm and I can't get to a shop) I have no aquarium medicines or such...

His fins seem to be stuck together and he has dark spots on his body that werent there before...

Can anybody tell me what is wrong with him?

I can't get him to a new tank for him yet, will he be okay in this makeshift tank?

What medicines do you suggest I get for him?

:-( Is the water he is in OK I mean has it been standing and is it warm if he has come out of a big warm tank. If you havent got a heater try putting him somewhere warm in your home. He is probably stressed and clean water and warmth is best. You need aqua salt in water and meds for whatever illness he has got. Good Luck.
