Attached below is a picture of my 20 gallon tank. It currently houses some Yellow Lab fry that I will be selling this weekend. My plan is to restock this tank as a community tank. If you had a spare 20 what would you do with it! I have an idea or two but I want to know what you guys would do. Also, try to stay away from the beaten path no bettas and neon tetras. Go!

I have a question for you... Are you keeping the coral sand and tufa rock?

given the current hardscape - tanganiykan shell dwellers? I think 20g is big enough, but best ask one of the tang experts in Old World.

Not interested in tangs as I already have a Malawi community. I change up the decor as well. Might do some more plants

Since you're keeping the hard scape and don't want rift lake cichlids, your best choices are going to be some of the small rainbows (neon dwarf, blue eyed), or central to north American fishes, livebearers, pupfish and some of the tropical freshwater gobies, ie. desert gobies (not N/A) would do well.
