Help Me Please

ok in a nutshell

woke up, betta is acting lathargic, has white stuff over him

go to lfs

get velvet control

get home and he looks like he has had it

floating round the tank, not swiming just hanging there, every now and again will have a burst of energy but its totally random, he doesnt know where he is

do i leave him or can i put him down

please help

Theres 7 neons in there, lost a neon the other day but he didnt show any of these symptoms. Im currently changing water daily due to nitrite levels.

Tanks been set up around 3 weeks now, not long enough i know now, misguided by lfs. I wont make this mistake again but i dont want my remaing 7 neons to suffer
