HELP ME PEOPLES!!!

Please someone has to help me!!! My betta has gotten worse!!
He has these white dots on his body so I got some medication for him cuz someone told me it was ich… now this morning I saw him and I literally thought he was DEAD! His fins are all torn up and they look like they’re going to fall off soon and his eyes are clouded over… His color is now gone.. he used to be steel blue but now is almost a sickly yellow and he just floats at the top and gulps for air repeatedly…. I think he has slime problems too….
When I was cleaning his tank out I took him out with a net and all this black water came off of him and I realized it was his COLOR! It was like black ink!! I got terrified! I really don’t know what to do and I tired calling my friend up cuz she might be able to help me but her line was busy… I really need help please!!

OOOO I almost forgot to add! My sis bought bettamax for me right now… do you think that would help?? If so how do you use it??

sounds like he has, ich, finrot and cloudy eye or the beginning stages of pop eye

try and find some medication called maracyn, if i remember correctly that should help the finrot and eye problem, as for the ich try the aquarium salt treatment, you might even be able to use both at the same time im not sure

that should help but dont get your hopes up to high cause it sounds like he's in some really rough shape

It sounds like he is at the advanced stages. Sorry to let you down but he probably won't make it. There's not much you can do for him at this point other than put him out of his misery, if you see that he's in a lot of pain. I think there was a topic pinned somewhere about the acceptable methods of euthanasia. Anyway I'm sorry to hear about it, and good luck with him (Hope he makes it).

Dante isnt going to DIE PEOPLE!
God, just scare her like that! Amy, Dante can and will get over his symptoms, you just have to keep an eye on him and do what i told you. Dante is a tough cookie, he's just a bit stressed from the spwaning and having to take care of the fry. I'll see if i can come over sometime like late sunday and take a look at him. Don't worry, he'll be FINE. See if Ocean can cheer him up, put her tank by his for a short while.

Hey tamatha... thanks for sticking up for dante unlike some people.... anyways, i gave him some bettamax a few hours ago and his eye has really cleared up and he's not floating on his side as much anymore but the downside is he' sick.. I'll just hope for the best... The good thing is that he acts a lot brighter when i put ocean near his tank (his mate)... Geese i really hope he doesn't die.. my poor baby...
