3. this guy i didnt like when we got him, he was all brown, now he's developed a lot of blue and red streaks...not sure if it's african or south american cichlid?

4. this guy has been here before, he came as a newborn baby with my 75gal tank from probably mixed parents. now he's about 2.5 months old. can you tell what he is?

thanks :good:

This is what I think...although I'm probably not right...

1. Pseudotropheus Elongatus species...not a Mpanga which are more purple and have more yellow...but something similar....Something in the Demasoni spectrum.

2. Pseudotropheus estherae (Albino Red Zebra)

3. Nandopsis Salvini (Salvini Cichlid) not a African but a very agressive New World

4. Some type of malawi but not a clue

i'll look into those IDs later today. thanks!
i dont think #2 is an albino red zebra as albinos typically have red eyes? and this guy has no albino-ness to him.
i figured #3 wouldn't be african as the body type if very different, but my expertise is not with cichlids

thanks for the info. any more replies are welcome!
