Help Me Decide On What To Do With My 240

Ok, so i have been given a Juwel Rio 240 and cabinet. Have decided to keep it and am torn between the idea of an Angel fish biotape kind of tank with plenty of wood or a Malawi tank with just a couple of different species in it. Inspiration has come from a couple of this months PFK magazine articles.

Although i say biotape i would probably add a few basic plants such as Java Ferns and Anubias, but would try and replicate (on a smaller scale) the Malawi tank as imo it is perfection.

So... any help and suggestions (and votes!) would be appreciated.

If you've never done anything other than tropical and are considering malawi, is free tank is just about the best excuse to set up a new direction ever. Biotopes are alright but that one is so brown and dull compared to the bright Malawi tank - you could do the biotope in another tank instead, on a smaller scale.

Hmmm... are you related to my missus? Thats exactly what she said Malawi's will probably end up the winner but i'm a little daunted as i have no experience of them what so ever... but i guess thats the same with anything.

You could always go for Peruvian Angel's, a little more interesting than the standard, a little more aggressive too.
