Ive had the plants for a couple of weeks (sorry i cant remember waht species), but no they're starting to turn brown and decompose, the rest of the plant is fine, but the edge of a couple of leaves seem to be turning a golden brown colour. i dont have a co2 injector, i will hopefully get one tomorrow, i have 5 bettas, 1 dwarf gourami 1 otocinclus and 5 snails. the tank is 65l and i have a few other plants in there that seem to be doing fine. I use 15ml of liquid plant fertiliser once a week and there is a roughly 1 or 2 inch deep soil substrate with a 2 or 3 inch sand substrate on top.

can you please help

have they sent off any new growth? , they could just me melting, leave them they will probably come back. there just adjusting to your water conditions

there an Amazon sword and it looks like there melting to me.. but im no expert.

you're right Mike, most if not all swords go through this transition, as they are grown out of water. When the get submersed, they get rid of the old leaves and start growing new ones. You need to trim the leaves off that go through this transition as they don't repair themselves.
