I did a water change about 2 hours ago. I was watching my fish and I noticed that one of my boeseami female that I worked so hard to get, has I large wound in it's side. There is fluid coming out of the wound, she is still swimming but she isn't following any of the other rainbows around. HELP ASAP I have no idea how to treat it.

The wound look pinkish red to me with a circling of white dead skin around the edges is this correct if so its an ulcer.
Also it looks like she clamping her fins.

I transfered her to the quarintine tank there is also a swordtail in there recovering from nipped fins. She isn't clamping her fins and fluid stopped coming out shortly after I first posted. The tank she was in has a small parasite problem which was what I was going to post about last night. The water stats are fine in the tank and the only fish showing signs of parasites is my blue ram (I'm thinking they are flukes).

Her wound is pink in the middle, but I can't tell if it is white around the edges or not. I read the page you linked but I can't find a good medicine to treat it with. What kind would you suggest?

Heres a updated picture

Thanks for the help Wilder

Maracyn one and two.
How's the tank he's been in, any flicking and rubbing going off in there as flukes can cause bacterial infections.

She has been fine in the quarintine tank. I have never seen her flick or rub against anything, my blue ram is the only one flicking and rubbing every now and then.

I did not get your post in time I went to get a med and I picked up something called Triple Slufa. I'm thinking this will be OK.

Ok sounds fine but would of rather had a med that covered neg as well as gram positve.
