you're probably at the limit but i don't think you have too much to worry about as long as you do regular water changes & look after your filter.

you defiantly need to get rid of those loaches
then do you think it will be ok then
an y is that

so you think it is ok if i kep the loaches then

Firstly the clown loaches get WAY too big for the tank, they reach 12" and require a minimum of 350L and groups of 4+

I'd take them back to your fish shop who shouldnt have sold you them in the first place if they knew your tank size, keeping them in your tank will result in their growth stunting and a slow painful death.

Personally I'd lose the mollies as well, they can get quite large and dont tend to do too well in freshwater tanks as they are brackish fish and require salt in the water (which none of your other fish will appreciate)

Platies and tetras are fine, although tetras shouldnt really be added to tanks newer than 6 months old as they prefer mature tanks and tend to drop like flies.

Is the tank cycled? If so how did you cycle it?

Andy

originally had a 36 litre tank which i cycled over 10 days till all the levels were ok then added the mollys the a month later added 4 platies

then 3 weeks ago gt a upgraded tank which is 65 / 70 litre tank set it all up put soil and pebbles in then added my original 36 litres then topped it up with tap wter with aqua safe planted it all and added my 3 mollys and 4 platies

then 2 weeks later today i went and gt 5 baby neons tetras and 2 clown loaches

You may find that your tank isnt actually cycled. In them first ten days you left your original tank absolutely nothing will have happened if no ammonia source was present.

What fish stores and tank instructions tell you about cycling is usually incorrect, you could fill a tank full of water, leave it for 200 days and it would be no closer to being cycled than when you first filled it.

Have a read of the links in my signature regarding what cycling actually is and the process it involves. You will now be in a fish in cycle situation so read that one as well.

Do you have a test kit? if so which one? A good liquid based test kit is absolutely vital, the test strips are inaccurate deeming them useless and may as well be used as firewood.

The clown loaches especially need taking back to the fish store.

Andy

Completely agree with Andy. He's taking you in the right direction.

Work on the reading he's linking you to and enjoy some of the other threads too as it makes it easier to learn.
