Help Indentify Fish

Hi all,

Does anyone know what species this fish is, whether marine or tropical, tropical i hope?

i think its a apisto of some sort al

Looks like an Apistogramma Agassizii, but different colouring. They're Tropical btw.

Had a quick scout and it is an Agassizii Fire Red apparently. First I've seen of them and it's looks beautiful.. hmm, might look into them

Looks like a Apistogramma agassizii to me.
They are dwarf cichlids.
pH Range, 5.0-7.0
Prefers warmer water in the range 77-84°F (25-29°C).

thanks for the replies guys, i was really hoping its a tropical!

its a gorgeous looking fish, am setting up a new tank and am after some colourful inhabitants with easy care level, any other recommendations would be appreacited!

Depends on what size your tank is =] but im sure we could help!

yes it is a red agassizi if you buy these fish you need to buy only 1 male and at least 2 females and you need to have plenty of caves in your tank as these fish are hareem forming cavity brooders

personally i would say 25gallon minimum

bleeding heart tetras and rummy nose tetras go really well with them ive got 6 black widow tetras in with mine
