i just feed some of my Mbuna baby nightcrawlers. very tiny worms streched out maybe 1inch my fish are a range of 1.5inch fish to about 3 inches. is this OK?? i am afrade i F***ed up

help
thanks matt

Keep a close eye on them for any signs of bloat, and in the future don't feed any meaty proteins, other than the occasional brine shrimp. I'd also suggest not feeding them for a day or two to give them a chance to clean out their systems.

Since most mbuna are herbivores, they have long intestinal tracts to break down plants (mostly algae) to get the most nutritional value. However, meaty proteins digest faster, and can sometimes breakdown too early causing bloat. :good:
