My platy is just giving birth and is in a net breeder. There is 5 fry so far and is about to be a sixth. There is 4 plants that came with the net breeder and a medium sized plant in there for extra safety, but there is still alot of room for the mom. Can the babies eat baby brine shrimp? I already got the eggs and know how to hatch them. Pleas help

yes actually baby brine shrimp is really good and healthy for baby fish =]

The BBS are a good food or fry Sweetheart. If you have not started to hatch them yet, they can eat regular adult food that you grind small between your finger tips until you get them something better. They can grow up on the adult food but its not as good as a growth food.

Is baby brine shrimp a growth food and heathy for fry? And my platy gave birth to one more but it died :-(

Aww, sorry to hear that but yea, BBS is good for them. I use the liquid fry food for my newborn fry though.

You can feed egg yolk.

Newly hatched brine shrimp is the number 1 food. I would go for that.
