My guppy just gave birth to its fry and we only just noticed. We have moved the 4 fry we could find into a breeding tank so they wouldnt get eaten. but no idea how we can tell if there are any more fry at the bottom. Any idea how to find them? or any idea how to look after the new born fry?

Take out all adult fish and decorations... Then snoope around the tank.

Welcome to the forum Fishkeeper.
Have a close look at the gravel in the tank where they were dropped. Baby guppies will hide in the tiny cracks and spaces that exist between individual pieces of gravel. You will also find some right along the very edge of the gravel sort of hiding between the gravel and the tank's glass. Looking after the fry that you find is easy as can be. Feed them almost nothing a few times a day and change their water quite often. There are several reasons to change the water that often including the fact that the frequent feedings will pollute the water.

Oldman is right. I learned the hard way on this one when I set up a fry tank with gravel and lost a lot of fry because they go down in the cracks of the gravel and couldnt get back out. If you are putting them in a seperate tank I would recommend to skip the gravel. I have a 5 gal that has all my fry in it and not a lick of gravel. Good luck finding them it takes time and a lot of PATIENCE!
