Hello,

I have a 10 gallon tank that has been up for 3 months now, I have recently tested the water, and I have 0 ammonia and a 7.0 pH. I have 3 black skirt tetra's, 2 platies, a powder blue gourami, and my honey gourami. It was a recent add, as everything else in the tank has been doing well, and my water conditions were optimal. I have only had it for about a week and a half now, and it was originally doing very well. Now however, it seems to be almost resting itself on the gravel, moving every 5 minutes or so. It appears that his abdomen is slightly larger than normal, but I would not stake anything on that. It does not appear to be dropsy, as the abdomen is only very slightly bloated compared to usual. He has lost his appetite and is worrying me a little. If there is anything I can do to help him out, please let me know. Also, any advice on taking care of the gouramis would be much appreciated!

Kindest Regards,

William

The tanks to small for black skirt tetra's.
What are your other stats in nitrite, and nitrate.
A gourami resting on the gravel is not good news.
What do you feed the fish.
Cook some frozen peas for a few minutes, let cool down, pop out of shell, mush between fingers and add to the tank.
If you can isolate the fish I would try a bacterial med if he's not eating.
