Help Getting Infested With Something

Well i have got these how do i explain them ermm... really tiny fluff like things on my glass i only had a few yesterday that i noticed now theres hundreds you no them dandelions that u can blow and all the seeds fly off well remove the seed from the little thing and ur left with the little white fury thing on top well thats whats this looks like on my glass but really small any ideas sorry i dont really no how to explain them

u think i used ( THING ) too much ? lol

just looked all over the net cant find out usefull help plz

Is this in the fishless cycling tank or the one with fish already in. Are they moving independently or with the current of the tank? If they are just moving with the current, its like a bio film of the sides of the tank and normal, if they are moving on their own, they could be planaria, harmless organisms which the fish would eat.

Sounds pretty normal to me, get a glass magnet cleaner and wipe them off.

Its just a normal bio film that grows on tank surfaces, just wipe it off, it will grow back from time to time, especially in newly set up tanks.

Not a problem unless you have huge amounts or fry which they can attack. they can be introduced into an aquarium by live food, snails, driftwood or water collected from natural waterways. A tank that possesses Hydra is not an unhealthy tank, as Hydra do not survive in poor water quality. However, a well looked after fish tank will not provide enough food to sustain large amount of Hydra.

One way of eliminating hydra without using chemicals is to black out the tank entirely, leaving only a 2 in x 2 in gap on the side facing the light. Within a few hours all the hydra in the dark tank will have gathered on the 2 in x 2 in opening and can be easily wiped off with a sponge.
