Help Fins Don't Look Right

I got 3 platies today. One of them looks to have a bit nipped out of his tail fin. A bit is missing and it looks kinda white maybe like a bit of fluff on the end of the tail fin and side fin but it's not fluff hard to explain. He just went in not long ago. Has he got some disease? I'm worried about my others. He was from Maidenhead aquatics very clean and fresh looking water. He was new stock in wednesday and went on sale today. The other two from the same tank look fine.

Your fish has probably been nipped and a bit of fungus has set up a secondary infection. Normally with good, clean water it will clear up on its own, but keep a close eye on it, as if its not improving or gets worse you might need to get some anti-fungal medicine from your LFS.
Don't panic as it shouldn't cause any serious trouble.
