Its on the side of his mouth. He look fine yesterday and looks happy enough, is eating and not looking stressed.

Tank size: 48l
pH: 7
ammonia: 0
nitrite: 0
nitrate: 20
tank temp: 26

Fish Symptoms (include full description including lesion, color, location, fish behavior): look like a white pussy zit, with little bit of red soreness on one side of it, it is on the side of his mouth. Otherwise he is behaving normally, eating, swimming around etc

Volume and Frequency of water changes: 20% once a week

Chemical Additives or Media in your tank: Just stresscoat when doing water change. Added extra for this mornings water change to help healing.

Tank inhabitants: 4 platy, pr Gourami (inc him), 5 pygmy cory

Sorry camera not working at present.

Any ideas/suggestions. Please help

Spots that have a circling or red on the ouside is bacterial columnaris.

Wounds that are white on the edges and red in the center are most typically Aeromonas. Those that are red on the edges and white in the center are generally Columnaris. Both are gram negative bacteria. The best treatment for this is any sulfa antibiotic with trimetheprim. This can be put in the water and mixed with food -- if you can find Romet B use it.

Thanks, for reply and link it was most helpful. I will pop out in search of treatment later.
