Help Cycling My Tank

i am rather confused about cycling, and want to do it right!
i want to do a fishless cycle.

i would like to know what i will need to buy, and links to where i could buy would be much appreciated.

i want to be prepared for when i get my tank.

every website seems to tell me something different and im getting confused!!

Welcome to TFF. If you intend to do a fish less cycle and you should then all you need to buy in addition to the aquarium you have in mind is some pure ammonia. Im not sure your location but if you are in the UK then Homebase is a good place to buy it. You need pure ammonia that is ammonia not containing surfactants.

and then a test kit im guessing, so which would you recomend?

That's the correct ammonia solution and the best test kit to get is the API freshwater master (around £22)
