Help! Cleeaning Sand.

well.... hello everyone

i was just wondering that gravel vacuums work because they cannot suck the gravel because it is very heavy and instead they vacuum all the fish waste :sick:

lol i was wondering that when you put the gravel vacuum in the sand, it will vacuum the sand because it is very light.
so if this is true, how wud i clean my sand during weekly cleaning??

Keep it about 2-3cm above the sand it will vacuum up the waste and leave your sand where it is !

Any waste that is not picked up by your filter, will collect on the surface of the sand, not settle down into it. All you have to do is pass the siphon over it and it will easily be removed.
