Help! Attacked Or Sick?

I woke up one morning and found my severum on the bottom of the tank on its side. Almost all fins are destroyed. Its either floating upside down or on its side. Not sure if being upside down is because of the fins being torn or a disease. And im also not sure if it was attacked or if its sick.

How big is your tank, how long has it been set up and have you tested the water at all? Exactly what fish do you have? How is the tank decorated and filtered? Temperature?

With the destroyed fins have you noticed anything like some disappearing within the past couple days?, or do you have any fish that are Fin nippers(danios can do this when they are curious or threatened)
