Help! 24 Ho0Ur Timers!

Cant seem to figure it out, yes I know im simple lol.

On the side is a red switch, one side allows eletricity all the time and the other has a clock for the timer I guess. Then the dial revolves so we thought this should be at the start time? Lastly there are the black nubs to set the time which we have tried each way, nubs down at time wish and nubs up at time wish. What is the right combo?! wanting to set these to help lighting and lower leccy.

Turn the dial until the arrow points to your local time, then press the buttons for the time you wish the lights to be on, so if you want the lights on between 10AM-6PM press down all of the buttons in that zone, then flick the switch on the side to the off position so the time is controlling the electricity, then plug it in.

turn the dial to the time now e.g. 20:55

Click all the black 'nubs' down for the required time. e.g. all the black nubs down between 6pm and 10pm (if you want the light on between that time).

Make sure the button on the side is set to clock time (not electricity on all the time)

Plug in and you are away.

(just thought it might help as the digi ones are a doddle to setup)

Hey peeps thanks for all the help, managed to get them working! Here is to hopefully saving some electricty and regular light time for the fishies!
