I found this forum while searching up fish for my aquariums. I decided to join. I'm somewhat computer-savy, but I must admit I don't know all the lingo kids use online today, so excuse me when I don't understand.
Just out of curiosity, what is the general age group this forum attracts in? Am I the only one that remembers the big bulk glass and metal aqauriums?

Welcome Shansu-San. You picked a good forum. I think you can probably get an answer to most any question you might have, regardless of what it may be. As for the age, It is pretty wide spread. Some are younger than 10 and others over 50 (raises hand). And a very international forum too - US, UK, Finland, Malaysia, Sweden, Phillipines, Brazil and on and on.

Welcome! Pretty wide age spread, mid 40's here. I remember the old aquariums, I've got a 50-some year old metal frame, slate bottom juwell tank I plan on re-doing once my basement finishing project is over. Wish I could find more of the old chrome framed tanks. Great retro look, like a '57 caddy.

Ah.
Grand to hear I'm not the only person over 50 that uses the computer. My Grandson comes over once and a while, and teaches me things about Aim, MSN, Yahoo, ect. He wants me to get a Screen Name, but I like the telephone much better, it's much more personal.
So On, Nice to meet you all!

By the way, I mostly keep livebearers. I keep Mollies, 3 female Guppys, and a few other sorts. I was much more involved in the hobby a few years ago, but since I've lost intrest. But, as most people say, fish keeping is the most addictive hobby.
