My name is Ryan, from Cape Town South Africa. Came back into the hobby in December, previously ran a marine tank in the early 2000s, so brand new on tropical. My son and I have just finished our cycling on a 350l tank, which took about 5 weeks. We are very fortunate to have two fantastic stores in Cape Town both of which specialize in tropical fish. Quite a few shops in South Africa that we can also order from online, but our focus is on supporting brick and mortar local stores as we have already built-up good friendships and get tons of free advice. Very excited to have found this forum and open to a lot of learning and sharing. Have a great week and for those celebrating Easter, have a blessed Easter.

I haven't "met" many South African aquarists, and am curious about the scene there. We have people from all over the English using world here, and a lot of different local experiences to be shared.
