Hi, everybody! I'm new here and I'm trying to learn more about fishkeeping! I recently upgraded my hamster from her 40 gallon tank to an Ikea Detolf (if anyone knows about hamsters, they will probably have heard of it) and now have it free. I have thought about doing different things with it (giving it the my local shelter, adopting another hamster which my parents promptly said no to, and to start keeping fish.) I have settled on the last one and am now trying to learn as much as I possibly can about fish keeping. I have been thinking about getting a betta fish after I cycle my tank.
