Hello all,

My names Lee. I'm located in southwestern Ontario. I have been keeping fish for several years now. I currently have:

10 Gallon w/ Fancy Guppies, Platty fry, 1 x 1.5" blind Pakistani Loach that has stunted growth and is tiny for its age.
Dont often test parameters as its a 10gal and they are hard to control anyways, light hood w/ regular fluorescent = LOTS of Algae growth even though tank gets no natural light, recently switched to actinic, just because we have a lot of fluorescent decor and brightly coloured fish. After a good water change and scrub of glass, algae seems to be more under control. Actinic has been running 10hrs+ /day for a month or two. doesn't seem to bloom algea, as was my concern. (Actinic is just for the look, and i think it does look sharp)

55 Gallon w/ 5" Gold Marbled Angel, 2x 5" Pakistani Loach, 4x Mickey Platties, 2x Mollies, 13x Neon Tetras.
Longest running tank, high nitrates, planted w/ amazon sword (w/ flourish tabs) and a peace lily which is on a suction cup and protrudes from top, natural light only, gravel substrate. 30-40% water changes 1x /week.

75 Gallon w/ 7" Black Ghost Knife, 4" Albino Rainbow Shark
Recently cycled, pool filter sand substrate, this is basically a tank i got specifically to house the BGK, he is getting big and i want to be able to keep his water pristine. So hes in a 75 gal with just him and the albino shark. Im trying to grow him into a monster and he wasn't getting well fed in the comm tank. he was growing about 0.25" to 0.5" a month. He seems more active and seems to have had a good growth spurt since hes been in his new home. He seems to REALLY enjoy the extra space, lack of natural light in his new location and lack of company.

In a prefect world would love to upgrade within the next year or so to 180+ gal. to be a forever home for the BGK, and a potential new home for housing Arowana. As i become more confident in my skill, and as I research more about the hobby, I am becoming more interested in larger, more exotic and more aggressive fish.

Welcome to the Forum, hope you enjoy all the info. Awesome tanks, but wheres the Plecos? =(

Welcome! Shame about the Pakistani Loach!
