Most of my family can't understand how I can care so much about my fish ("They aren't like dogs, all they do is swim around"), but they're living things and, frankly, I find them fascinating! Unfortunately I'm still fairly new to fishkeeping (I used to have my tank set up a few years ago, but at that point in time I knew nothing about the cycling process), and I'm thrilled I found this forum where I can ask for advice from experienced aquarists!
Apart from my fish (3 fancy guppies right now), I've got two dogs that I love to death; I adore my friends' and family's cats; and once a week I take horseback riding lessons and volunteer at the barn I ride at. =)
