what like ..well just gt water and filter up going yesterday .quick question nick its a 4 ft juwel tank with a 300w heater but i noticed heater is on alot is that just till water is heated right up to proper temp or u think i should putt another 300w in at the other end

If it's a thermostatically controlled heater, then it will stay on until the thermostat says it's time to switch off. What size tank you got?

hi thanks for advice tank is 4ft long by 16 inches wide 21 inches deep its a juwel tank ..i just went bught another new heater a eheim jager 200 so now have 1 heater either end ...this will be ok will it plus having two if 1 stops working i will have another in there
