Hello!

Hi all! We've been properly keeping a couple of tanks for coming on two years (one tropical and one cold water), and love visiting various aquariums and fish pet shops - with the occasional fish and chip shops. Having said that, my first fish was won at a fair a good 17 years ago and is still going strong (I didn't know at the time how long goldfish would/can live!). We're currently looking at moving into a marine tank (not literally mind you) but my word it can be expensive, perhaps exluding the 1000 gallon tank thread i've very much enjoyed reading. I (the Dave half) have been working for an established wine company for a good amount of time - though play with so called magic a bit - and I'm potentially looking for a change. Would love it if if a fishy career reared it's head in one form or another potentially! Soph is a Primary School Teacher and we reside in Gloucestershire, familiar with the local stores. Having read a lot of the topics it's nice to join a community which seems to have a lot of advice, knowledge and has a friendly feel to it.

Anyhow, i'ts easier than I ever anticipate to write an essay so i'll leave it semi short and will no doubt be asking mundane questions before too long!
