Hi!
Thank you.
I have adopted a Lovely Betta fish. It's been almost 2 years now. Betta blu is a sweet fish! A friend moved to Alaska and felt she could not transport him properly so here I am with him. I really have been fond of my little guy over the past almost 2 years.I noticed a lil spot on his tail. It was not white but it was a spot a little darker in color. Betta blu is playful and eats well in his 10 gal aquarium. I have a filter in it as well as a heater. I check his Ph level and for not knowing much about fish, he seems to be alright, until now I noticed his spot has turned into a little bubble. I do not know what this is and I am looking to fellow fish lovers to help me help him. This may be a normal aging thing or maybe he has some sort of bacterial thing I do not want to go ahead and treat him with Betta fix etc until I feel comfortable. I am still researching this. So Hello all and any suggestions or any knowledge on this would be appreciated. I can take a photo if this helps..

hi and welcome to the forum im new on here as well lots of great stuff to read and people to help out. a photo would help but it sounds like an ulcer, but to be unsure untill a photo.
Cindy, in order to get the help you need, and the advice, I would suggest going to the betta section of the forum and making a "new topic". there someone would probably be able to help you better! Betta Section Link!
Welcome to our forum Cindy.
Better yet than the betta section, why not try a post in the Tropical Emergencies section. The people there are far better at diagnosing and treating disease than most people in other sections are.
