HELLO,

to all . i'm new to the form and breeding fish altogether (although i have kept other fish) i have a set up my tank last week and got some guppy's yesterday put two female's in the breeding box it's one of those that the fry fall through the bars to the bottom of the breeding box so the female's don't eat them , anyway when i got up this morning there was one (just one fry) have the other's died ? i have done a bit of reserch on them i understand that they deliver within 4-6 hours or if stress full up to 12 hours and can have a few stop delivery and start again next week !

what's you opinion ?

no because as soon as they deliver the eggs they fall down through the 'bar's' `and they carn't get to them !
as i say i will take photo soon and post them then you will be able to see what i mean

You say your tank was set up last week. Does that mean it had finished cycling last week, or received filter media from a mature tank?

yes they can fall down the bars, but most can also get back up again then get eaten
