Hello! I usually hang out at MFK, but I wanted Info about some characin species ( setting up a 240L sajica tank, need dithers) and found this site. Seems like this are an active site with lots of info, So anyway, i´m a swede with a passion for ANYTHING that lives in water. See you!

I gather the question is about dither fish (preferably characins) for a 240Ltr Cichlasoma sajica tank?
Most tetras should be fine with them. Big sajica might try to eat stuff like neons if they are hungry but as a general rule they shouldn't bother them. If you go for high body tetras, black phantoms, etc, then the sajica won't even look at them as food and they should get along great.
The tank has plenty of room so you could have a school of hatchet fish at the top, a couple of groups of tetra, perhaps emperor, phantoms and diamonds for the mid levels. And a few corys or peckoltias/ bristlenose for the bottom

Thank you! Tank size: 120*50*40. The tetras im thinking of getting are Rummy nose and black widow. The tank have been cycling since tuesday so I will wait with the Rummys but I´ll probably add the black widows tomorrow (5). I added bacteria to the filter when I started it up so it shouldnt be any problems with the BW but It seems that RM are sensitive to cycling tanks. I will also get 10 Cory schwartzi or so.

Sounds good
Get the Corydoras last because they are even more sensitive to water quality than tetras.
