I have a relatively new, cycled 260l tank which is heavily planted and host to 4 pearl gourami, 2 sunset gourami, 2 dwarf gourami, 3 honey gourami, 2 plecs, 2 corydoras, 6 glolight tetras, 5 rosey tetras, 7 rummy nose tetras, 8 cardinal tetras, 8 penguine tetras and 2 gold rams. Amonia 0, nitrites 0, ph 6.8, temp 78. We had fish in when cycling and did loose a few but managed to keep the majority, some deaths occured with no apparent signs of disease and did get whitespot on our rummy nose but did clear that up and fish seem to be doing ok. Times when wanted to give up especially when fish die cause you feel guilty. Have posted something on the gourami link but decided to join as you get so many different viewpoints when investigating what fish to have, whether to do a fishless cycle etc your brain goes numb trying to get through it all. Have read the books and rather than trawl through webpages of stuff decided if i get worried, I'dhave some support.

:hi: to the forum, i'm sure if you have any ?'s or problems someone on here will know the answer, hope to see you around the boards :)

HI WELCOME!! You seem to have a very interesting mix in your community tank. I cansee you like gouramies. I love these guys, though finding a good mix of Male/Female and then dealing with their various personalities can be a challenge. Especially in a new set up when your building your "family" I had to exchange some aggressive ones, but now every body is happy.
