Hi all new to the site and to keeping TF just purchased a Juwel Rio 180l and put my first fish in Neon tetras swordtails angel fish guppys looking forward to learning more

yes I did as the shop told me to do when I took my sample in they said the water was spot on

How exactly did you cycle the tank? And for how long?

I cycled it for 48 hours as this is what the guy in the shop told me to do I put the p.h stuff in to the amount they advised and left everything running then after the 48 hour period went to get the fish after they had ok'd the water sample.
fish seem to be doing great now after a week but I don't think I dissolved the p.h stuff enough before adding to the water as the water is still a little milky not bad but not crystal clear any advise how I can resolve this please?

Sounds like your tank isn't cycled. Leaving a tank running for a little while does nothing except ensure all of the equipment is working
Have a read of the cycling link in my signature to understand what I'm talking about.
 
The milky stuff sounds like a bacterial bloom, water changes and time will make this go away.
