:D Hello there everyone

This is a cool site.

Very new to fish keeping, we have a Rekord 70, with 1 siamese male fighting fish, 5 zebra danios, 5 neon tetras, 3 yoyo loaches (bought today), 2 angels & 4 white cloud mountain fish.

They all seem very happy apart from 1 naughty danio that seems to be bullying them all . They don't seem bothered by it though.

They tank is very natural, 7 plants, 1 large piece of wood, 1 shell for them to hide in, and lined with small pebbles.

Any thoughts on our tank would be very appreciated.

Bye bye

Hi and :hi: to the forums.

Advice on your tank should be found in begginers questions, but I will give you my tuppence worth and please take it the right way.

The Angels are unsuitable for a couple of reasons, 1 they grow large and need an 18" high tank with more room, 2 they will eat your neons as they are there natural diet. They may be really getting on at the mo, but the usual purchase size is really small and they will fit those neons in thier mouth when they grow.

White cloud mountain minnows are coldwater. They may be able to survive tropical temps, but ask elsewhere as I am not sure.

Danios should be kept in groups of 6+, 5 should be ok but 6+ is better as they are social fish and need lots of thier own kind. Also they prefer 20 gallons or more and if I am correct a record 70 is 70 litres which is not 20 gallons which would be roughly 90 litres.

Final note. Before buying fish, research them here or elsewhere. Have you cycled your tank before adding fish? If not read the pinned topics in the begginners section.
