Right now I have some Guppies, and some Aulonacara, that I have have for a number of years.

Welcome to the forum LeeRoy.
I am sorry to say that I can't help by being local to you. I am in central Illinois myself. Your fish combination seems strange to me. How could guppies and African cichlids work out? Maybe things are fine but it just struck me as an unusual combination.
