Hello anyone who might be reading!
I've wanted an aquarium for some time but could never really think of somewhere to put it but that problem has been solved (BluRay racks are moving!). As a result I have enough room for a tank about 120cm wide as a maximum.
On Saturday the wife and I headed down to Lynwood Aquatics in Surbiton, Surrey (England) to have a look at some of the options and ask some basic questions. We both like the look of the Juwel Rio 180 which comes in at 110cm wide and a total of 180l (47.5 US Gal) which I think will be a nice sized aquarium for the room and something that we have a few more options for with regards to type and/or quantity over a smaller sized aquarium.
I'm in no rush to get this set up and get stocked and have no problem waiting for a full fishless cycle to complete (see I'm learning already) before I start introducing in some tenants. I'm at work for the next 7 days with very little to do (hurrah!) so I'll be have a good old read through this forum looking for as much valuable info as I can find before spending any money.
So yeah, see you around the forum and I hope I'll be able to provide some nice crisp sharp photos for you all! There are also bound to be a lot of questions
