Hello, my name is Pam and I am a fish lover! I have been looking around for a forum to hang out on and this one look good.

I love to take photos of fish and fish tanks. It is always challenging to get one that isn't blurry!
My work is designing websites, and my hobbies are numerous.
I am serious about keeping non-native species of creatures and plants out of our environment.
That is part of the reason we founded NW Fish Rescue.
The other reason why we founded it is because we had a situation long ago where we had to move for a job and had no one to take our fish. We tried taking them with us, but it was a 4 day trek from Oregon to Oklahoma. One fish lived, and one newt. It was sad.
So, NW Fish Rescue is born now, my husband is retired and I have a lot of time on my hands.
Any ideas for getting the word out on the rescue would be appreciated.

thats great u guys take in fish and amphibians. Im curious how many people actually think about a "fish rescue" when they can no longer keep fish. Do you guys take in a lot of fish??
