Hi I'm new to the forum how is everyone just a quick question I have recently bought 2 black ghost knife fish and found them today in my external filter anything I can do to stop them swimming up it??

What kind of filter? All sorts of ways to prevent this depending on your filter.

Put a screen of sort over the intake. Is it just an open tube ?
