just joined, think i have a pregnant platy fish, really need some advice

Yes, she looks pregnant.

What do you need advice on? It's usually best to leave the mother fish in the main tank. If you want some fry to survive, add lots and lots of fine leaved plants.

How big is your tank, and how many fish (and what species) are in it?

You can put her in a breeder box, or add lots and lots of hair grass, moss, and Cabomba! Also if you plan on keeping her in the tank add a sponge to the filter or just throw in a sponge filter.

NO! Do not add her to a breeder box, this will cause the platy to be stressed and may give premature birth.
