Hi everyone:

I am Scott and I am from Newcastle Upon Tyne (North-east England)

I am currently looking to buy to buy a 4-5ft aquarium. I owned a 5ft aquarium around 5 years ago but a move to a new home meant it had to be sold.

Sorry Simon I should have stated this in my first post. My setup will be for tropical fish and possibly 2-3 cray fish depending on what size tank I find. It will be a mixed community of friendly fish.

If I do get cray fish will they be ok along side a Plecos or is there a chance the Plecos maybe be killed?

Ive never kept crayfish to be honest although I think I;ve read somewherer that they are a risk to other fish in the tank

welcome ive also heard that crays prey on fish in the night when the lights are off

It might be a good idea for me to knock the crayfish idea on the head then and maybe go for shrimps instead. Hopefully this weekend i will become the owner of a new aquarium.

Well i picked up my new tank this morning and i must say im over the moon with it. its a fluval roma 200 with stand and fluval 305 external filter and heater.

this plane caught my eye so i bought it

stocking ideas so far.

3 silver sharks
3 ruby sharks
12-15 guppys
12-15 neons.

I do not intend on stocking any semi aggressive or territorial fish.

Nice tank Scott, i have a 125 & 240 roma and can't fault them.

Ohh I almost forgot 2 plecos. Not sure of which kind just yet as there are so many different types. I like the look of the gold nugget plecos.

the silver sharks will get too big for your tank

i think ruby sharks have to be kept individually as they mature

can't go wrong with roma's i have a 125
